Workshop suitable for families, schools, hospitals, and businesses. Tantrums are the immediate result of having choice removed. Every individual wants to have their own way. The very display of a tantrum is associated with childish behavior, even when an adult exhibits it. Parents, spouses, employees, and children may feel trapped, living in fear of the explosions that consistently blow out of proportion over the smallest inconvenience or upset. Your family/team may constantly deal with a tyrant toddler, a rebellious teenager, an explosive spouse, or even an aging grandparent. Families/teams learn techniques which are best suited to their needs using scaffolding in their instruction. The program structure is geared toward helping families/teams change their attitude about what is truly important for each family/team member individually, their family/team as a cohesive unit, and red flags that can be spotted before tantrum eruption. This workshop is designed to be tailor fit for specific family/team dynamics, helping families/teams recognize the need for independence, and giving family/team members confidence to step back while tantrum throwers develop ownership and self-regulation. After completion of the workshop families/teams confidently move forward in mitigating triggers, taking active responsibility in self-regulation, and cohesively moving forward towards a harmonious home/work environment. Individuals that take an active role in their self-regulation have better relationships with family/team members, a greater sense of value and well-being, and a higher likelihood of self-reliance.
